and i also found out that i've been a ''live specimen'' for my mom's growth and development classes. you know, studying how kids (bones and muscles) mature and grow up and develop? hahaha. ohwells.
broadway beng on wednesday night and it was awesome much. sebastian tan as broadway beng is just hilarious. thank goodness he spoke english and the hokkien standard that he spoke was understandable. ok, at least i could understand like 10%. hahaha. i seriously cant understand hokkien. percussion section and 0914 has been trying to educate me on the hokkien language but i just phail at it. hahaha. i think they gave up on me D:
the good thing was two seats away from me there was an ang moh so his partner, who was seating next to me, was translating it and i could hear the translation. and there was a bit of chinese too. even though my chinese pretty much suck too.
loved the final act where he sang broadway musical songs and transited smoothly to chinese (getai) songs back and forth. of course, the arrangement of the songs played a part too. and then there was the spoof of super junior's sorry sorry. it became a song on durians...well because this year's performance was called "broadway beng jiak liu lian" hahaha.
speaking of durians, i think i shall go and eat the durian puff now. bye bye!
